Here are my non-PPR, standard rankings for Week One of the regular season! Wanted to give everyone a heads up that I will never do the first game of the week (usually Thursdays). Welcome to my inaugural post at iCon Fantasy Sports. My first few posts will be going through the top 10 fantasy football players at each position. I am starting with quarterback because, well, thats where everyone starts. Quarterback has almost always been the most important position of the field in the NFL and it is starting to become no different in fantasy football. I believe there are six truly elite quarterbacks this season. Here are my preliminary top 10: Follow @Sports_25toLife 1. Aaron Rodgers (GB) - Rodgers is still my gold standard at the quarterback position. His passing and running competition is often emulated, but rarely duplicated, much like a damn good Jack n' Coke. Rodgers has averaged 4,259 passing yards and 33 passing TDs in four seasons since taking over as a starter, comparable numbers to Tom Brady and Drew Brees.
