He ran nearly 14 times a game in Baylor. I know that's way over the top, but we'll ser him run eight times a game, no doubt. Using Cam Newton as an example, he ran 7.9 times per game last year, and that's with much better running backs around him. RGIII will get 6-10 carries every game.

I don't really agree with Griffin running that much. I think people assume that he will run a lot because he has blazing speed but never really ran the ball much at Baylor. I assume he will have to scramble 4-5 time a game, especially being the NFC East but I think 8 carries a game is a bit of a stretch.

Redskins run the ball 35 times a game, I would see: Hightower/Helu with 14/8 (whichever Shanny decides to go with), Griffin 8, Royster with 5. That's 35, and I think it would be something along those lines. They will pass more this year too. Luckily Helu gets about 3 catches per game, and about 7 yards per catch. I think those numbers will be very similar this year, as far as Helu in the pass game goes.

If the Redskins can run the ball 30 times a game and Hightower gets at at least 15, why is he going so late?

I'm not sure I would say that. He gets the job done..but I wouldn't say he was good. Hightower's value will sky-rocket if he can learn to catch the ball. He dropped about 2 of every 10 passes thrown to him or something like that. That's just awful, especially when you're right there coming out of the backfield. It shouldn't be difficult. Luckily, that's something he can get better at down the road.

Exactly, and it's not like he is some bum that Shanny threw in there. He is a good NFL RB.

FFootballCahmp - I like the Hightower pick, forgot to put him in my post. When you're getting a guy hwo could start that late in the draft, how can you pass that up?

Some guys I like to target

QB - Michael Vick: I am always targeting Vick in the fourth and maybe even fifth round. The guy has the highest upside of any QB in the league right now and is very dedicated this off-season. I think if he puts his mind to it and plays smarter, he can stay healthy. He might be able to produce the kind of numbers that he did in 2010. The guy can simply win you a game by himself.

QB - Matt Ryan: New OC, Dirk Koetter, is going to use Ryan in a lot more no-huddle this season and basically take the reigns off of him. This is the next team to go pass-heavy as Michael Turner is aging and not a complete back to replace him. He will have a lot of help from his two elite WRs, Roddy White and Julio Jones. I think Ryan will have a career year and you can snag him in rounds six and seven.

RB - Tim Hightower: This guy is simply underrated at the age of only 26. People seem to forget that he was a reliable starter last year before getting injured. Shanny said that s long as he is healthy, he will be the starter. There is no risk in taking Hightower just because you can get him so late in drafts! He is all upside and can be a good flex option when he has the starting job.

WR - Dez Bryant: Dez is one of the most talented WR in the league, hands down. He has shown that he can own some of the elite corners in the league like Revis. He took a big step from year one to year two and I think that he will improve to an elite WR1 in his third. If he can get his head on straight, he will be very dangerous this year with Romo throwing him the ball.
